What's the difference between your detail packages and a drive-through car wash?

A drive-through car wash is designed to get your vehicle clean quickly. Professional detailing is about properly cleaning, protecting and caring for your vehicle.

Automatic washes that use shared brushes can introduce fine swirl marks and micro-scratches over time as dirt and grit are transferred across the paintwork. They also don’t provide the deeper cleaning, paint decontamination, interior treatment or protection you get from a professional detail.

At Detail Therapy, your vehicle is hand washed using quality microfibre wash media, pH-balanced products and safe washing techniques designed to minimise contact with dirt and grit.

Depending on the package, I can also deep-clean carpets and seats, decontaminate the paint, remove embedded contaminants, restore and protect trims, and apply quality paint protection.

It’s not just a more thorough car wash. It’s a completely different level of vehicle care.

 

 

 

Can you remove pet hair and odors completely?

In most cases, absolutely. Pet hair can be stubborn, especially when it’s worked deep into carpets and fabric seats. I use commercial-grade vacuums, compressed air, rubber pet-hair tools and specialised attachments to remove as much embedded hair as possible.

For extremely heavy pet hair, I’ll always be upfront about what can realistically be achieved in one detail rather than promise something I can’t deliver.

For odours, I treat the source rather than simply covering it up with fragrance. Professional cleaning products and treatments are used for pet, food, smoke and musty odours.

For cigarette and tobacco smoke, I also offer ozone treatment as part of the odour-removal process. This can be particularly effective for persistent smoke smells throughout the vehicle.

Some severe odours, especially years of cigarette smoke that has penetrated deeply into seat foam, carpets and other materials, may require more than one treatment.

The goal isn’t to mask the smell. It’s to find the source, treat it properly and get your vehicle smelling fresh again.

Do you offer paint protection and ceramic coating?

Yes, I offer high-quality ceramic coatings and spray-on protection.
Ceramic coating helps prevent UV damage, light scratching, and fading, and makes washing easier long-term.

​Can I fix dents and deep scratches?

No, I cannot fix dents.

A cut and polish will revive the surface and remove those swirls and light scratches or paint transfers you can see in the paint. This will leave your paint looking glassy and new again, but any scratch that has gone through the clear coat and damaged the paint cannot be polished out.

 

How do I pay?

Payment is to be made on site as soon as the job is completed and you are 100% happy

Payments can be made by CASH/Bank Transfer/Pay ID 

Receipt/tax invoice will be issued

 

 How long does it take?

​Most detailing packages take 2–6 hours, depending on the size, condition, and service chosen.
Smaller cars in average condition sit toward the lower end, while heavily used utes, vans, trucks, and commercial vehicles may take longer.

We never rush. Every job gets the time it needs to be done properly.

 

 What do I need to provide for a mobile detail service?

 All you need to provide is access to electricity and water.

Electricity is not a must-have, as I have self-sustained electricity with solar, but it's limited.
